I build places where young children learn by playing, wondering and getting a little messy. I founded Five Little Tales in Hyderabad, and I care about raising kind, curious, confident people, starting from the very first years.

Chapter one

About Shravika

Educator, founder and a believer in the first five years.

Shravika is an early childhood educator and entrepreneur from Hyderabad. She founded Five Little Tales, an early learning centre in Manikonda, for children from five months to six years.

Her work begins with a simple idea: education should light a spark, not fill a container. She builds classrooms that open onto gardens, lets mud kitchens and story circles do some of the teaching, and treats a child's sense of safety as the ground everything else grows from.

Before the school, she was already starting things. As a student at St. Pious X Degree & PG College for Women she designed and launched her own calendar, coached students for the National Youth Parliament, and was selected from India for the first Gandhi-King Scholarly Exchange Initiative. She went on to complete her postgraduate studies at Osmania University.
